Dr. Kimberly Lockhart has been involved with animal health care for over 20 years. Her experiences working with race and show horses and as a small animal vet technician steered her towards a veterinary career. She is a Phi Beta Kappa and magna cum laude graduate of the University of Rhode Island, where she received her BS degree in zoology. She was accepted to the University of Pennsylvania and graduated with her VMD degree in 1994. As a general practitioner, Dr. Lockhart has many professional interests, but soft tissue surgery, orthopedic surgery, and emergency medicine are her favorites. During her leisure time, Dr. Lockhart likes to run, bike, inline skate, and cook, but she especially likes to spend time with her daughter Lizzy, husband Bob, and crazy cat Chicklet!
Dr. Beth Henry received a BS in biology from Albright College. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 1994. Dr. Henry enjoys the variety of being a general practitioner and the bond between pets and their people. Personal interests include sports and the outdoors, but mostly spending time with her son Jimmy, twin daughters Kate and Alex, husband Jim, and numerous pets.
Dr. Michelle Rosero Parker earned a BA in Biology from the University of Delaware and went on to receive a veterinary degree from the University of Pennsylvania. Her areas of interest include internal medicine, emergency and critical care, ultrasound and soft tissue surgery for cats, dogs and small mammals. She grew up in New Jersey and now enjoys working and living in the greater Philadelphia area. She and her husband Matt have two wonderful children, Owen and Gwen, and a growing family of pets.
Dr. Rose, a born-and-raised North Carolinian, received his BS in cell and molecular biology from Tulane University. After performing HIV vaccine research for four years and completing a master’s degree at Johns Hopkins University, Dr. Rose went back to school and received his veterinary degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 2009. He worked as an emergency clinician prior to joining the staff at Wellington in 2011. In his spare time, Dr. Rose enjoys gardening, cooking, and spending time with his wife Marilyn, and their dog and cat, Cassius and Mr. Poopers.
Dr. Bukowski received a BA in journalism and philosophy from the University of Washington in her native Seattle. After a career as a journalist, she earned a veterinary degree from the University of California at Davis and completed an internship at Red Bank Veterinary Hospital in New Jersey. Her areas of interest include emergency medicine, toxicities and shock. In her free time she enjoys rowing, baking and going to the dog park with her terrier mix, Yuri.
